Gratitude (Shukr)
General Definition:
Shukr (الشكر) means acknowledging and appreciating Allah’s blessings through heart, tongue, and action. Classical scholars define it as recognizing the Giver, praising Him, and using His blessings in obedience. Shukr transforms blessings into spiritual growth and sustains faith by connecting gratitude with humility, remembrance, and devotion.
